A is for Ah Crap, I Got an Agent

So guys, in the past week and a half, something has sort of... happened. It's so crazy, I haven't been able to blog about it (or anything) for fear of explosions. I mean, I talk about unicorns a little more often than necessary on PWK, and this was like I'd gone for a stroll in the woods and accidentally slammed into a unicorn. Who then starting chatting with me about kittens and the BP oil spill. THAT crazy.

It's real. IT'S REAL SHUT UP IT'S REAL

What the hell is something that happened? Well, um, I started having seizures querying, and then after a period of time, I had offers of representation from some heart-stopping agents - um, three - and then I had more seizures ultimately decided to sign with one, partly because, as quoted from an email sent to Kody Keplinger on a 4AM night within this Craziness timespan:

I WANT hER NAMeTATTOOED ON MY FACE.

So after a year and a half of sleeplessness, of frustration, of friendship, of the joy and fear and love and sadness and pure ecstasy that I'm guessing can only come from finding your One Legitz Passion, I am now represented by superwoman-agent Suzie Townsend of Fineprint Literary Management. And dude, it was worth it. It was more worth it.

It was like, UNICORN MASSACRE STARS EXPLOSIONS SEIZURE UBER-worth it. Which is saying a lot (I think).

I could probably drone on here, talking about Ze Journey, Ze Book Called Autochromatic, Ze Lessons Learned, and all the other Ze's that are so fun to drone on about. But I'm so excited I can barely think, and I might need to keep some rambling material for the future (oh man, there's a freakin' future now). Mostly, I just want to say one thing.

Thank you to everyone who has helped, who has read, critiqued, encouraged, chatted, forumed, cheered, given advice, commented, followed, friended, Tweeted, blogged, stalked, and everythinged. You know who you are, and you're beyond awesome. (FYI, if you're reading this, that includes you. Unless you're like, OMG I hate this girl, in which case... email me so we can be buddies!) I literally would not have made it this far without all you guys. I use the term would not have because I would not have.

And that's all I have to say about that.
